At Healing Within, A Licensed Clinical Social Worker Corporation, we respect your right to personal privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy discloses the privacy practices for www.healingwithinlcsw.com. This policy applies solely to information we collect, use, protect, or handle your Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with our Website. Our private practice has additional privacy and confidentiality policies that are given to clients upon meeting with their therapist.

The Website and its content is for general informational purposes only. It does not intend or constitute personal mental health advice. We do not assume responsibility for the provider-patient relationship until the client has their first session with a therapist.

What information do we collect?

The information we collect on our Website may include your name, email address, phone number, and records of your correspondence to us (if you contact us). We may respond to your phone number or email address to answer the message we receive. We collect information from you when you fill out a form or enter information on our Site.

Please note that no one under the age of 13 may provide any personal information to our Website. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We will delete any information from a child under 13 unless we have verification of parental consent.

According to CalOPPA, we agree to the following:

–     Users can visit our Site anonymously.
–     Once this privacy policy is created, we will add a link to it on our home page.
–     Our Privacy Policy link includes the word ‘Privacy’ and can be found on the home page.

Users will be notified of any privacy policy changes on our Privacy Policy page.

Users are able to change their personal information by emailing us.
